PRODUCTION PROCESS
Toolmaking
The production of your product starts with the tool and mould making: Using 3D files, our CAD / CAM system can produce milling programs for CNC machines to create either gravity dies (casting moulds made of steel) or models for sand casting.
Gravity die moulding
Gravity die moulding ensures high-quality cast parts and is the most economical method for small and medium serial production. The aluminium melt is filled through a sprue at the top of the mould (die), and it fills out the cavity in the mould through the force of gravity. Bore holes or bolts can easily be cast along with it. The resulting cast parts exhibit a high level of strength, precise contours, and an excellent surface quality.
Sand casting
Sand casting is the most economical method for the production of prototypes and small series, because the mould falls apart after production and no tools have to be created. A model is placed in the sand to create a mould, thereby also creating a cavity. The molten aluminium is then poured into this sand mould through gates. This method allows cast parts to be produced in flexible quantities.
Machining
The turning, milling and drilling of the castings is carried out using CNC and NC machines.
Grinding
After casting, the surfaces are expertly polished. You can choose between deburred and vibration polished, high-gloss polished or satin (brushed) finishes.
Powder-coating
If desired, we will coat the cast pieces in the colour of your choice. In addition to the standard colours, we also offer special RAL shades upon request.
Assembly
Our installation team will prepare everything on site for quick assembly. If you wish, we will pre-assemble your products or package them item by item.
Shipping
We would be glad to accommodate any individual delivery and packaging requirements, and we’ll always find the most economical solution.
